Getting a 1.4 mn funding to the top of international tech news agendas
CHALLENGE_
Horizon, a SaaS startup specialized in customer centricity and decision intelligence for big corporations, had raised 1.4 mn euros in their pre-seed funding. We wanted to communicate this milestone as prominently as possible in the highly competitive media market of funding announcements.
CAMPAIGN_
We defined the tech, startup, and market research media as relevant target segments, in both German and English-speaking markets. Here, we wanted to put Horizon on the radar of potential client on the corporate side as well as potential future business partners.
In order to penetrate the broad range of funding rounds on the part of journalists at the time, we told a parallel story in the course of addressing the media: the hiring of Annie Melnic, previously responsible for Consumer Insights Outdoor Sports at Adidas, who Horizon was able to add to their team as Head of Data Analytics & Insights.
RESULT_
Although we were dealing with a comparatively small amount of funding, we succeeded in placing Horizon in the relevant industry media both nationally and internationally. In the end, there were a total of ten publications that helped to position the Mainz-based startup as the leading future solution for market research. Our press work for Horizon also contributes to a stronger perception of the brand among potential customers, partners and employees.
